Joe Dispenza says to, “Remember your future.”
For the last six weeks I’ve been doing just that.
I will sit outside and just stare out onto the world.
No phone. No music. No podcast.
Collapsing my timeline and taking deep breaths into the future that I want for myself.
I sit with the business I envision and becoming universally known for this Storyliving concept in which you pursue your bold life and tell the stories that help change the world.
So for about 5-10 minutes a few times a day I just sit outside and stare at the world around me and do that.
I proudly repeat in my head, “I am the StoryLiving King. People love telling stories and they come to me to help them.”
I look out at the world and the people who walk by and I image they know me for that.
“Oh that’s Matt, he’s the StoryLiving guy,” they all think.
I feel into the abundance, the joy, and the excitement as if it’s already here.
I breath deeply into those feelings and allow them to be true.
Because why not?
I can easily convince myself it’s a lie. That is simply a practice I used to have and now I’m being intentional about creating a new habit.
But it’s not just thinking these things.
I do the things StoryLiving king does.
Every other day I have been getting on my IG stories and talking about the StoryLiving concept.
I share it with that joy, excitement in love because that’s what the guy who is universally known for this concept does. He’s so excited how much he is changing the world and just wants everyone to know about it so they can live a happier life.
My content is not really a strategy as much as it is an embodiment of the StoryLiving King.
I tell stories of me living my bold life and offering lessons or ideas that may help you in your journey.
I teach you how I tell stories.
I share concepts that have helped me become a more confident, vulnerable storyteller.
I no longer come from this convince-y energy because, why would I, when millions of people already know and love the StoryLiving concept.
Then, something marvelous has begun to happen.
I have been receiving the evidence that my future is already here.
I even made an album in my phone called, “Evidence”
A few days ago my dad texted me,
Then yesterday I got this beautiful comment on my Reel,
Then yesterday my brother texted me his coworker said this,
Also yesterday at the end of a client call she said this,
Isn’t it interesting that 3 of these 4 messages weren’t from the people directly?
It makes me wonder how many people out there are seeing me in this way and just don’t say it.
Soon, it will be millions.
It’s really cool to witness this abundance flow in as I lean into this positive energy (abundance isn’t just money or physical things).
It doesn’t come from just saying these affirmations in my head on the street though.
It must be paired with action. And if I want to be seen and recognized by millions, I see no better action to take than to post content and allow the world to see me in my becoming.
So the question for you becomes, who are you becoming?
What’s your movement?
What do you want to be known for?
When people hear your name, what will be their first thought?
What future are you remembering?
With love,
Matt
